How to Choose a Hotel Near Myeongdong Station
Stay by Myeongdong Station for Line 4, Namsan and the southern shopping streets; choose Euljiro 1-ga for Line 2 and easier trips to Hongdae or Gangnam. L7 Myeongdong and Pacific Hotel minimize walking from Line 4, while hotels toward Euljiro are better for Line 2. Check the exact exit, room size and current airport transport before booking.
Station names are not enough
Two hotels using Myeongdong in their name can sit on opposite sides of the district. A ten-minute walk feels longer with luggage, stairs, summer rain or winter cold.
Check the route from the platform to the hotel entrance, including elevators. Do not rely only on a straight-line map distance.
Compare the room, not only the rate
Record the room area in square meters, bed width, window type, breakfast inclusion and cancellation deadline. Central mid-range rooms can be compact.
Airport-bus stops and timetables change. Confirm them with the hotel close to the travel date rather than copying an old review.

Frequently asked questions
Which station is best for a first visit?
Myeongdong Station is simplest for Line 4 and Namsan; Euljiro 1-ga is stronger for Line 2.
Is every Myeongdong hotel inside the shopping streets?
No. Some are in Sogong-dong, Hoehyeon or Euljiro, which may be quieter or better connected.
