A single-story Andeok hotel designed by Itami Jun, with Korean-style and Western-style rooms and aragonite hot-spring water supplied to guest rooms.
What makes this place distinctive
Itami Jun designed the hotel as a single-story composition inspired by Jeju thatched houses and oreum. Individual rooms connect through openings toward the sky and landscape; works by artist Lee Wal-jong are displayed inside.
Who it suits
Editorial guidanceEditorially, this suits travelers who place architectural character, generous room size and in-room bathing above proximity to central Seogwipo. Families should compare the distinct occupancy limits of each bed configuration before booking.
Choosing a room
Both Deluxe formats are 58 m². The Western-style double has one king bed and accommodates two adults plus one child; its twin has one king and one double and accommodates three adults plus one child. The Korean-style double has one king and accommodates two adults plus one child; its twin has one king and one double and accommodates up to four adults. The Western-style room has a marble bath, while the Korean-style room has ondol flooring and a hinoki bath.
Budget and extra costs
The operator lists tax-inclusive standard nightly rates of KRW 880,000 for Deluxe Western-style rooms and KRW 935,000 for Deluxe Korean-style rooms. Occupancy beyond the standard two people costs KRW 33,000 per person per night; extra bedding also costs KRW 33,000 per night. These are standard rates, not a quote for a particular stay date.
Booking and using the venue
Check-in is from 15:00 and checkout is at 11:00. A baby bumper bed for children up to 24 months or a bed guard requires advance reservation and is first-come, first-served; the two cannot normally be borrowed together. Other listed convenience, bedding and infant items are requested on arrival and remain subject to stock.
Before you visit
Online cancellation or changes are permitted until 17:00 eight days before arrival; later requests require a phone enquiry. Eight or more rooms follow separate penalty rules. If the booking guest and staying guest differ, the staying guest is charged the room rate at check-in unless advance payment has been arranged with reservations.
